The main goal of the project "I have a dream" is to test, implement and disseminate new innovative methods for empowering of vulnerable groups (Roma women and girls) through advocacy and by introducing an innovative method from Norway, containing training for personal skills and direct advocacy through visual methods, culture and folklore, deliberative discussions, etc.

Advocacy based on:
a) development of personal skills and self - confidence and
(b) the implementation of innovative Norwegian models for direct advocacy through arts and culture.
 

The tasks of this project are:
a) to build an internal (Roma communities) and external (public opinion) environment that respects the Roma woman as a person and at the same time
b) to give tools to Roma women to defend themselves as subjects who can fight for their rights, interests and dreams

 

The information campaign on the project will reach at least 25,000 people and at least 5,000 Roma; innovative advocacy empowerment methods will be tested in 6 cities; 60 Roma women will develop personal skills and knowledge for empowerment through direct advocacy; at least 120 people will participate in the discussions of the project (indicators: number of participants in the project -120 people; number of users of the project results - 10,000 Roma women, girls and children).

The project will be implemented mainly in the Roma district "East" of Kyustendil, and the other 5 cities with Roma communities that will be actively involved in the implementation of project activities are Dupnitsa, Blagoevgrad, Radomir, Sliven and Botevgrad.
